Elegant Micro Wedding at San Morello in Detroit by a Detroit Elopement Photographer

This intimate micro wedding at San Morello inside the Shinola Hotel was all about great food, beautiful design, and celebrating with their closest people. We started off the day with some getting ready photos in their room at Shinola Hotel and then headed downstairs for some photos of them in their ceremony & reception space. I also spent a lot of time capturing all of the thoughtful details, from the tablescape and cocktails to the florals and the gorgeous architecture that makes this corner of the city so iconic and photogenic. After some family photos, it was so nice to step away with Daniela & Alex after the ceremony and capture some beautiful portraits around the streets of my favorite city. This day was the perfect reminder that even a smaller wedding can have so much style and personality and that you can still capture a lot of moments with less people.
